AWM Awards of Excellence Gala

We are honored to host the 43rd Annual AWM Awards of Excellence Gala on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. This special evening brings together the Dallas-Fort Worth media community to recognize outstanding achievements across the industry.

The event’s highest distinction, the Silver Award of Excellence, will be presented to one exceptional individual. Selected by a panel of peers, this prestigious award honors a career marked by significant contributions to media and a strong commitment to advancing women in the field.

We will also proudly recognize the accomplishments of our student scholarship recipients. Two students will each be awarded $5,000 through the Irene Runnels and Paula McStay Scholarship Awards, and one student will receive the $2,000 Judy Miller Student Media Tour Scholarship.
