We were proud to host the 42nd Annual AWM Awards of Excellence Gala on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Dallas—a special evening when the Dallas-Fort Worth media community came together to celebrate the best in the industry.

The evening’s highest honor, the prestigious Silver Award of Excellence, was awarded to Nicki Harkrider-Probey. This once-in-a-lifetime recognition, voted on by a panel of peers, honors individuals for their ongoing contributions to the media industry and their efforts to advance women in the field.

We also celebrated the achievements of our student scholarship recipients. Two students were each awarded $5,000 through the Irene Runnels and Paula McStay Scholarship Awards, and one student received the $2,000 Judy Miller Student Media Tour Scholarship.
