The Dallas Area Alliance for Women in Media Foundation would like to congratulate local recipients of the 44th annual Gracie Awards:  Kellie Rasberry, Kristin Dickerson and Amy Sillan. 

The Gracie Awards, presented by The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF), celebrate exemplary programming created by, for and about women in radio, television, cable and interactive media. Honorees are selected in national, local and student markets, including both commercial and non-commercial outlets.

KRISTIN DKristin Dickerson of KXAS-TV (NBC5) was honored as a director in the local television category for "My Sister From God," a story about Dominique Tillis, who was paralyzed in a car crash, and Brendy Kirkland, the nurse who rallied support to help her and her five young children.

Amy Sillan, KXAS-TV (NBC5) Director, Integrated Marketing Solutions, was honored for her contribution to the station's "Courageous Kids" series shining a light on the achievements of children living with a health challenge or special need.

kELLIEKellie Rasberry, co-host of the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show (YEA Networks) was named the 2019 Gracie Award winner for Co-Host, National Radio.


The Gracie Awards Gala was held on Tuesday, May 21 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA, where national radio, television and interactive media. were recognized, and the Gracie Awards Luncheon held on Wednesday, June 26 at Cipriani on 42nd Street in New York with local and student winners being acknowledged.
