The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation is gearing up for a fun-filled Summer!

We are working to offer support, education and growth opportunities for women and professionals in an ever-changing industry…and celebrate our DFW media community!

Empowering America® Update

For almost a decade, the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation has been telling the stories of inspiring women from America history with its Empowering America® program.

Ford Motor Company Fund has supported the Empowering America program for fie years. In 2012, AWMF with the support of the Ford Motor Company Fund will donate educational booklets and artisan-quality posters to middle schools in Dallas and Nashville meaning thousands of middle school students will be exposed to the true stories of American women who have made a difference.

Cheryl Pruitt - AWM Member Spotlight WOW. What a treasure trove of information we got at the recent AWM Luncheon where the topic of the day was Digital Minds Discuss Developing Local Digital Dollars in DFW. We had over 100 in attendance with lots of time for mixing and mingling before we got to hear some of the brightest “digital” minds in this area. The high profile panel discussion was moderated by Cyndy Carr, Sr.
